“CROSSROADS: Change in Rural America” is a touring exhibition from the Smithsonian Institution’s Museum on Main Street (MoMS) series, and takes a broad look at rural America and how small towns evolved. Colorado’s small towns continue to creatively focus on new opportunities for growth and development, and with those innovations and creative spirit, rural Americans are helping to define and shape the future of the country. Every rural person and place has a story. Change is part of that story.”
Companion presentations include the History of La Junta that will be presented by Bob Fowler; The Manzanola Dry Settlement presented by Darlene Derbigny; and the Holly/Swink Railroad and the Growth of the Arkansas Valley presented by Chuck Hanagan.
