Fur Trade Encampment

Fur Trade Encampment – October 7-8, 2017 The trading post comes to life as we celebrate the trappers, traders and tribes associated with the fur trade in the Southwest during the 1830s and 1840s. Fifty or more living history volunteers demonstrate 19th century skills at the fort and in camps set up along the Arkansas River.
